No argument for the past 11 months - it is good? hmphhh...
He got his new personal computer after 5 1/2 years
We at a similar "channel" although sometimes...

3. Me - hehe...
Strengthen my team relationship although Tracy has been seconded out to help out Lau
I got my promotion after 2 years service with my current department
My contract (management trainee) expired but jumps into another contract ... have to tender 3 mths in advance if I resign ... HuHu...
Got my salary increase almost double my current pay
Sold my house for a profit of RM20, 000
Investment portfolio positive return of 8.5%
Got thinner for the past 3 months - reason... less sleep, study and eat less... not that healthy am I?
Finish my MBA semester 1 Hurray!!!!! But exam coming up in January

Since Yr 2008 is just around the corner... may be i should think of how to give back to society now.... stay tuned..

Zach's 2 years Old Birthday

Now a days... Kids are so blissful. I can't even remember my 2 years old birthday.

A little family gathering for Zach birthday last night at The Curve - Colonial Times Restaurant. He is so happy running around. After a few glasses of wine and Indian dishes, everybody start mingle around. Hem.. I can say I only know half of the guest. Surprisingly most of them are Val's family. A few new comers to the family. Cynthia new baby boy Christian - 8 months old, Zach's cousins - Monica, Kathleen and others...

We all went back home to Hartamas and Zach starts to explore on his birthday presents... teddy bear, play-doh, drawing board, bicycle and watch this... new car for this little fella given by the Grandma...

High - tech gadget for kids... It operates electrically. Comes together with a remote control if he don't know how to step onto the pedal. Buttons... amazingly impressive even some of them I don't know how to operate it.

It is quite noisy in the sense the "start your engine sound" vrrrooooommmmm! Then turn to the left and right voice, the honk sound with random musical that attracts everybody. Oh.. well..I would have prefer it if it is a Porsche as Zach's one is a Lexus. Too old and too big size to fit in anymore - Haha...

As midnight approached, Zach will have to end his happy day as soon as Val drag him in for shower and time for ZZzzzzzzz. Crying as loud as he could begging his mum to continue with his new gadget, he looks so sad. Failing to get his parent attention he turns to his lovely uncle Doug... for the first time showing his sympathy look towards the uncle, calling him "shouk shouk" and try to pull him to the door in order to play with him... mission FAILED. Sigh...
However, everybody is comforting him. Hey... you can still play it everyday my dear Zach boy! Happy Birthday Zach dear! Muack...

CoNflicT

I believe I will spend some time once a while to review my life progress... Yesss... I don't want to die to regret this and that - very pessimistic. On the other hand, I just want my life to get better and people around me should be happier.

Emotional at a play: At certain point of time I know who I am. I am those who really appreciate progressive in life. And therefore when things slow down I tends to hit by "disappointment".

In another word, NO EYE SEE! It stucks in my head and it is personally towards my "N" years of relationship. Yup ... hit by that bug again and again. I would say it is me again. I do hope for advancement for all stages in my life. Greedy!!! I use to compare my work life vs family vs friends vs relationship vs personal attribute. It seems this Big "FIVE" remains priority in my life and I am happy with each of it except... Relationship.

Declaring an un satisfaction openly is not a good option isn't it hehe. It is not that major changes occur but in fact nothing happen that means Just There. Okay... no discussion, no argument, less communication, outing once in a blue moon and it is like so hard to drag to go some where else, family bonding... nope he is not a family person in my dictionary, and most importantly my affection towards our relationship fading. Huge problem???? No I am USE to it. Action to be taken? I believe that once your mind is fix pretty hard to change aren't you?

My worry: Do I have the time to play the game and Do I want it afterall. Other player/ substitute - they come and go breeze thru because I am so engaged with the current game. No referee, No time limit, No rules, Nothing... should be happy ... No challenge!

Well this is life afterall. Nothing is perfect but you just can sit down and wait things to happen. You make what you think should happen... CouragE!!!

Uni gatherinG...

8th of November marked the Deepavali celebration for all the Hindus pilgrims. However, as a Malaysia in fact we celebrate all the festives... hehe. I didn't get any holiday but work around the clock and went to the party once I finish my work ... not sharp 6pm though. SigH..

Traffic... all the way along Jalan Kuching. Once I arrive to Matt house (Host of the NighT) Thanks mate! Quite a few already started partying and some aggressively taking photos... Hey remember to pay me!!! If I collect RM10 per photo... I should be be RM100++ richer haha...

Where is my Necklace???

For the past few nights I have been searching for my little Cross Diamond pendant. Unfortunately I have negative results... It is given by my dear as a gift this year - just recently (June or July). The last time I remember I put it on a desk but I can't recall whether it is at home or the new studio I am occupying now. I've been searching everywhere for it...

Waaaaaa... how can I be so forgetful??? All left now is the empty box.

Told dear about this last few night, he keeps on comfort me it is alright. But NO WAY... it should be here!

Next LeveL...

For the past few weeks, things and people change... those that I can't afford to forget...

1. My New baby - Avanza delivery is delay... Dad is jumping on me..

2. My bond with my company ends on 31st October 2007. I've apply for a promotion but for other department rather than my own department now. I admit I love the job I am doing now, it is just the superior whereby I am kind of losing respect and hope for them... and guess what - after all this my superior "RESIGN" yup... she's leaving for a better offer in overseas. I remember once she told my teammate and me " I don't like the job I am doing now"! I totally get it and I wish all the best for her.

3. Applause for the team effort for my whole team... stronger and better than ever Especially our grievances a Guest Service Assistance finally promoted to Asst. Manager. She's a brilliant and hardworking girl.

4. I have move from my current room (sharing basis) to a studio type room a little bit far from my workplace (15 mins walk instead of 5 mins walk) and hell lot of shopping and cleaning. But I always remind myself buy what is necessary only... I think I am almost there. hehe...

5. My late Tan Sri past away and I have to be on duty (exempted on my birthday only).

6. Obviously my birthday on 25th October... I went out with my full team for steamboat. It very touching and unforgetful moments with them. With their supports I felt I am happier and complete compare to previous team that I am belong to. They even bought me a diamond pendant with the alphabet "J"... I really really really love it.

7. I am in the mid of Semester 1 for my MBA programme. There are lots more to study and focus especially my assignments. Oh I have a wonderfull class mate too... Some are from India, Soviet Union, Holland and lots more...

8. My capable teammate is seconded to help out for a retail shop. I am alone in the section... I will miss her... and shall wait for her return in two months time. Oh... the indirect manager will transfer out... good for him as in my opinion he is more sought of talker/ Lone ranger/ Hero rather than a team builder.

9. Dad sold my house for RM188,000 It is a good price but not what I am hoping for... till then most probably another round of swifting to newly acquired double storey house near by.

Well, I hope more good fortune to come and world peace

PeNanG

After a day Ipoh tour the next morning we went to Taiping and straight to Penang. I've been there a few years ago. It is quite a busy city. Our aim is to eat all we can...

1st stop Penang Asam Laksa at Balik Pulau. Yeah we follow an adventurous journey and manage to arrive about 45 mins later after crossing our famous Penang bridge with heavy traffic along the way.

Next stop we went to the city centre and stop for the most iconic Penang "Chay Koay Tiew". We are lucky that day as they operate as usual whereby they suppose to close on Monday. People have to queue up just to get a plate of delicious noodle.
This is only "almost reaching queue" for the famous Chay KoayTiew.
Curiosity kills a cat. haha... I am wondering will I see any trisaw or "beca" in Penang. Taaaa daaa

Before we leave Penang we went to this famous strip in Penang Gurney Drive where we have various selection of Penang food. Rojak, Oh Chien, Asam Laksa, Prawn Mee, Ice Kacang... slurp... still thinking I should go back one day and eat more... ssssshhhhhhhh...

After that yeah... traffic time again to cross Penang bridge... sigh... after sending my dear friend Small Fish and Ray dear and I drove all the way back to KL. Tired but adventurous... it is a memorable journey...

Ipoh & Penang

Last weekend - I travel to north with dear to Ipoh (attending friends wedding) and further north to Penang. We went for a little adventure on Sunday around Ipoh City. We went to Nam Heung Coffee shop for the famous white coffee- smooth, rich, frothty, aromatic... plus a slice of toast... yummy. Doug & me in the hotel room waiting for wedding dinner time...

Told dear we have to consume "tau foo fah" and we did. The taste is just so-so for me but it does have the fine/smooth taste. Later in the evening we went to friend's wedding dinner which is amazing. Oh... we also drop by to purchase Pomelo with the famous "tourist trap" using beauties as gimmick. hehe.. even dear is suprise the way they dress... cleavage-mini skirt... haha

Classic CasE!!!

Dear woke up this morning as usual, take a shower, took his bag and head for work. Once he step onto the accelerator - the car didn't move! He step out from his car and OOww... his two tyres were stolen.

Yeah we believe that the "thieves" stole it during the wee hours... dear is very upset and happy at the same time! Why? Coz when he look at other car, there's a Honda car which all tyres were stolen and he always told me - this is the time where you purchase new things without hesitation. Haha... lame excuse.. dear manage to get a whole set of 4 new tyres during the afternoon. He even told me it comes with a special lock nuts set to prevent same occurrence's in future. I have heard about this from friend and relative, just can't believe it happens to my dear. Classic, classic case...

WeekenD HoliDay!

I am having my holiday for a weekend. I felt amazing. On Friday 14/09/2007 I went to JPJ to purchase my new toy registration number. WQM 9810 ... Didn't manage to purchase my favourite number 9990 though. SigH...As far as I concern the number adds up to 18 haha... Yeah I really need more money.


Meanwhile, on Saturday I went to University Nottingham, Semenyih for my MBA Enrollment. Phewww it is far and secluded area surrounding by forest... It feels like I am back to Cardiff again... For my lifestyle I will be bored to death if I am studying full time there but good experience.

After went back to dear's house and play with Zach for a while, we zoom to Mid Valley intends to do a little shopping ... but end up with nothing much for myself. Went back home and TESCO... grocery shopping with bro and dear.

SundaY... busy busy day. Early morning kiss my dear to wake up for his haircut appointment at Hair Atelier - New haircut, Brand New Start for dear... Then dear bought me to One Utama to do more shopping as I have been nagging him I want to buy shoes... hehe :p. We ends up with more things than I expected... Anniversary RinG...

and at night I follow dear and family members to have our seafood dinner - Auntie's Birthday! Hem... Lobster Sashimi with the head is still alive...Eewww

PaSSionS...

Life is too SHORT! Yet another brilliant women which I admired so much passed away. Yes she is Dame Anita Roddick (The Body Shop Founder). Her values, respect and kindness capture my heart deeply.

I still remember my first job as a part timer with Body Shop during December 1997-young, naive and curious. Magaret (Shop Manager) brief me about Anita's story, values, social contributions and PASSIONS which turns her into a successful businesswoman. Lead by example Datin Mina Foong she is another down-to-earth and beautiful woman who inspire all of us in Malaysia.

Her death reinvigorate my PASSION which faded since I've been working with the current company. WakE UP my DEAR, MakE your MovE!!!

In Memory...

For the past few days, I've been busy travelling to pay my respect to Doug's late grandmother. Lack of sleep and busy at work. Apart from all this hectic daily activities, today 9-11 reminds me of tradegy which shock the whole world.

It's so sudden! And I just can't understand the reason behind it - "CIVILISATION"???
Although it happened in Yr 2001, it resides in our heart and we will never forget the moment.

Boyfriend's GranDMother...

Yesterday, while I am busy at work, I recieved a message. I didn't bother to see as I continue finishing my work... dear called me up and telling me he is going home. WHY??? Eventually the message beep just now was send by dear to tell me his grandmother passed away! His grandmother has been continously enter and discharge from hospital since begining of the year suffering from breathing difficulty.

Went back to dear house after work and no sign of his mum. His mum came back quite late at night but what seems to bother me is after the whole day of "discussion" ends up no finalisation... (e.g. coffin, when grandmother is to be burried, when is the service...etc)

All I do is to pray for dear grandmother:

hear our prayers and comfort us;
renew our trust in your Son,
whom you raised from the dead;
strengthen our faith
that dear grandmother all who have died in the love of Christ
will share in his resurrection;

Visit Malaysia Yr 2007 - Ipoh/ Penang

Since I am attending a friend wedding on 23rd Sept. I take this opportunity to drag my partner along hehe... He made arrangement to stay at Hill City Condo and we plan to visit Taiping and Penang on the next day. Excited, excited, excited...

MEMORY...Early in the April '07, both of us visited Macau, Zhuhai and Hong Kong. It's an Adventure for dear, and dear won money too from a reputable casino $$$. One of my SHOPPING REWARD - is my yellow PLAYBOY handbag from Hong Kong (50% off)... It remains my favourite Acce$$orieS till now. When will it out end up in my store? Soon enough when I fall into a new beauty.

I can't keep my mind of a book I came across last night - can't quite remember the name but I will SO GOING TO PURCHASE IT...

MBA - The University of Nottingham

Dreamz... I have always wanted to pursue MBA since I am young. I still remember when I was 5 years old, I told my dad
Me:"Daddy, I want to study in a prestige University"
Dad:"OK, you study SMART from now on and daddy will give you everything you need to make your wish come true"
Me:"Okie. Muack.." Zoom... went out and play

When I am 20 years old, on the telephone with my dad
Me:"Dy, I want to study in UK for my final year"
Dad:"OK, as long as you promise me to take care of yourself and don't play a fool there.Get the money from your mum."
Me:"Thanks Dy, that means a lot to me"

September 2003...
I flew to London and hop on a coach to Cardiff City, University of Wales (Alone) after they accepted me to study for my final year there. Spend almost RM 80,000 for a year inc. traveling to Europe - Italy, France ... and came back to Malaysia August 2004.


A year ago...
Me:"Dy, I am going to pursue my MBA"
Dad:"Go ahead dear, let daddy know if you need anything else"

I enrolled myself with The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus for the MBA programme (part time) and today they post me the UNCONDITIONAL offer letter. Induction day is on 15th Sept 2007 at the main campus - Semenyih instead of the Chulan Tower. DREAM, DREAM, DREAM here I come and I really have to double even triple my energy in order to balance of my work and study... at least for another 1 year plus. (finger crossed)

Bought this new baby on 21st of August 2007.
Will have to make a trip to authority department on my next holiday to obtain my baby registration number $$$

My new baby then will be taken care by my MuM and my bro around KL. Meanwhile I'll drive the elder sibling bought in a few years back. Still waiting for the NeW Altis wave to hit Malaysia...
